Hi, I’m ege. I live in Istanbul, Turkey.

I’m a developer by trade, sysadmin at heart. I love building things, but I really shine when everything’s on fire.

I love books. They were always my greatest source of comfort. (This is probably why I want to write too.) I usually read non-fiction, either philosophy or politics. For fiction, I like detective stories and fantasy. My favorite book is Unsong by Scott Alexander. I have a tattoo of Stephen King’s Dark Tower on my back.

I love art. I’d rather be in a museum than at a party. I’ve been practicing sculpting since August 2025. My first serious sculpture, Syzygy, was exhibited in May 2026.

I hate politics. I mean I hate the spectacle where billionaires and their puppets pretend to represent us, not the power relations between agents in society. I’m a leftist. To be precise, I’m a Marxist. This means I’m convinced by Marx’s critique of political economy and I’m a committed member of a socialist organization.
